Vibeke and Francisco

Vibeke and Francisco came to us with plenty of ideas for their kitchen. We sat and discussed for many hours and over a few sessions before coming up with a plan. We all agreed It not only had to look great but of equal importance, had to function well for a busy family of four. The kitchen also required a small work station for Vibeke. The end result ticks all the boxes.

The kitchen was manufactured from Eurolite Poplar and Birch plywoods, it has been colour blocked to highlight the contrast between white laminate and natural timber. The Caesarstone worktop, the resin sink, the tap and door handles were chosen in black by the client to compliment the overall look.

The workstation was hand crarted for Vibeke in re-claimed Rimu,  she chose one of our bar stools the S.220 in re-claimed timber to match.

Jo and Steve wanted strong elements of steel, reclaimed timber, laminate and glass to give their kitchen an modern, industrial aesthetic. They also requested their antique sideboard be flipped upside down and integrated above the oven. The end result is a successful blend of texture and colour and incorporates a number of strong wood elements which tie in well with the reclaimed timber floors and cedar ceiling.

Jon and Debbie

Jon and Debbie were looking to modernise their kitchen — without losing the appeal of its 1970s style. They approached us for a design and renovation that would give the kitchen a more contemporary feel, while adding a large pantry, breakfast bar leaner, additional cabinetry and display areas for their favourite pieces of art. Timber touches and the use of the bold orange colour from the original kitchen were key to preserving some of the 1970s flair.

Kate and Family

This Waiheke batch is owned by three family members who use it as their holiday home and island retreat. The existing kitchen was tired and in dire need of improvement. We worked closely with Kate to design an updated version based on simplicity, ease of use for all 3 families and great, clean looks.

Clear lacquered Birch plywood fronts and spray finished pantry doors compliment a stainless steel bench top and laminated Birch plywood breakfast bar.
