Kitchen Design Process

We take you through every step of the process from sketch proposals and design, samples and mock ups, material selection, manufacture and install. We work with you to fully understand your requirements then apply our expertise and experience until the end result is fully functional, beautifully crafted, meets our own high expectations and is one you are completely happy with.

HOUSE OF THE YEAR

Shoreditch crafted this bright plywood kitchen for the Pah Road award winning home built by Pitch Construction on a Waiheke clifftop.

FUNCTIONAL FOR FAMILY: PLY KITCHEN

Vibeke and Francisco came to us with plenty of ideas for their kitchen. We sat and discussed for many hours and over a few sessions before coming up with a plan. We all agreed It not only had to look great but of equal importance, had to function well for a busy family of four. The kitchen also required a small work station for Vibeke. The end result ticks all the boxes.

RECLAIMED TIMBER: MODERN & INDUSTRIAL

Jo and Steve wanted strong elements of steel, reclaimed timber, laminate and glass to give their kitchen an modern, industrial aesthetic. They also requested their antique sideboard be flipped upside down and integrated above the oven. The end result is a successful blend of texture and colour and incorporates a number of strong wood elements which tie in well with the reclaimed timber floors and cedar ceiling.

SIMPLICITY IN BIRCH PLY

This Waiheke batch is owned by three family members who use it as their holiday home and island retreat. The existing kitchen was tired and in dire need of improvement. We worked closely with Kate to design an updated version based on simplicity, ease of use for all 3 families and great, clean looks.

We strive to use only low impact, reclaimed or sustainable materials and lifetime guaranteed hardware, our products are MDF and chipboard FREE. All Shoreditch materials have a FSC certificate. And a E1 or lower toxic admission rating.
